Sue Easton is a Communication Professor at Rollins College in Winter Park, FL where she teaches classes in Organizational Communication for both undergraduate and graduate students. In this capacity, she has incorporated innovative teaching methodologies while using online distance learning techniques to increase students' knowledge and use of relevant technical skills. In May 2003, she received the Walter E. Barden Award for Excellence and Innovation in Teaching and in 2005 she was selected for the Arthur Vinning Davis award which recognizes a professor's outstanding teaching and scholarship achievements.
Dr. Easton is also active in academic pursuits and currently serves as the editor of the Florida Communication Journal. She has held several offices in the Florida Communication Association including President and Vice President. Sue has several publications, including her recent book, Communicating Globally: Intercultural Communication and International Business. Sue received her Masters degree from Syracuse University and her Ph.D. from Florida State University.
